Outsource UK is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join our team and maintain an efficient accounting function for a varied client base. You will work closely with clients and colleagues while developing junior members of the team and may take ownership of a client portfolio.

The role is full-time (36.25 hours/week), based on-site initially with potential for hybrid work after the initial period. Study support is available and opportunities to grow within a top UK firm are highlighted.

Formación

• AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified
• 1 year’s experience in General Practice
• Ability to travel to client premises and between offices
• Knowledge of accounting standards is advantageous

Responsabilidades

• Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Liaise with clients to resolve queries in a timely and professional manner
• Complete all assignments within the allocated budget and on time
• Produce draft tax computations for clients
• Produce year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies in accordance with accounting standards
• Review work undertaken by junior staff
• Assist and develop junior staff
• Prepare tax return schedules
• Complete VAT returns

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join our team. This is a key, senior role within the department, responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate accounting function while providing a high standard of professionalism and quality of service to a varied client base. You will work closely with clients and colleagues alike while supporting the development of junior members of the team. As we continue to grow, exciting opportunities may arise for you to take ownership of and grow your own client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete all assignments within the allocated budget and on time.
• Produce draft tax computations for clients.
• Produce year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies in accordance with the relevant accounting standards.
• Review work undertaken by junior members of staff.
• Provide assistance and support in the development of junior staff.
• Prepare schedules for tax returns.
• Complete VAT returns.

Qualifications & Experience

• AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified
