Job Description

• Preparation and review of financial statements.
• Completion of tax returns and VAT returns.
• Liaising with clients to provide financial information and advice.
• Working closely with junior team members, providing support and guidance.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Managing client relationships and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Assisting with internal audits and risk assessments.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Senior should have:

• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or QBE equivalent).
• Experience in a similar role within the professional services industry.
• A good working knowledge of IRIS Accountancy Suite, Xero, SAGE 50, SAGE Business Cloud and Microsoft Office is preferable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
