Audit & Accounts Senior

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

We are working with a reputable accountancy practice based in Birmingham city centre, actively seeking newly qualified or finalist candidates to join as an Audit & Accounts Senior. This role typically involves approximately 70% audit and 30% accounts work.

Your role as an Audit & Accounts Senior:

• Support Partners and Managers in delivering high-quality audit and accounts work within the corporate team.
• Review and prepare client accounts, tax, or VAT-related work, and undertake remuneration planning exercises.
• Communicate with clients remotely and on-site to gather relevant information and identify additional service opportunities.
• Manage your workload efficiently, ensuring quality and processes align with deadlines and budgets.

What you'll need to succeed:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or a finalist with no more than 3 papers remaining.
• At least 2 years of experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Experience in both audit and accounts, with good tax knowledge.
• Experience using auditing software such as Xero.
• Enthusiasm for career progression within a growing team.
