Job summary

TPF Recruitment Ltd in Henley-on-Thames is seeking an Accounts Semi-Senior to join a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants. You will work with a diverse client portfolio, supporting statutory accounts, tax returns and management accounts while progressing your professional qualifications with full study support.

Hybrid working is offered: 3 days in the office, 2 from home. Ideal candidates will have UK practice experience and strong communication skills, with the ability to manage

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Experience preparing accounts for a range of business entities.
• Currently studying AAT, ACA or ACCA, or keen to begin a professional qualification (full study support available).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a proactive approach.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Assisting with corporation tax and self‑assessment tax returns.
• Producing management accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.
• Supporting bookkeeping and VAT return preparation.
• Liaising with clients and developing strong working relationships.
• Working closely with senior team members to ensure timely delivery of client work.
