Job summary

TPF Recruitment is working on behalf of a rapidly growing firm of chartered accountants based in Rochester, Kent. They are seeking an Accounts Semi Senior to join their team and support a broad client base including sole traders, partnerships and ltd companies.

You will prepare management accounts and statutory accounts, assist with corporation tax and self-assessment tax returns, and liaise with clients and HMRC.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Management Accounts: Ensure timely and accurate reporting for a diverse range of SME clients.
• Assisting with Financial Statements: Support the preparation of statutory accounts for clients.
• Corporation Tax and Self-Assessment Tax Returns: Prepare tax computations for directors and companies for review by the Corporate Tax Manager.
• Liaising with Clients and HMRC: Provide excellent communication and support on behalf of clients to ensure compliance and resolve queries.
• Improving Processes: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of processes and workflows within the team.
• Training and Mentoring: Assist in the development of junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
