You will support a diverse client portfolio with managers and seniors, delivering accounting, tax and compliance services while developing your career in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Ideally AAT qualified or hold an accounting related degree and willing to study ACA or ACCA.
• 2 years' previous experience within a UK accountancy practice.
• Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Preparing year-end accounts for a varied portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Assisting with preparation of corporation tax and personal tax returns.
• Preparing VAT returns and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Producing accurate bookkeeping records and reconciling financial information.
• Assisting with preparation of management accounts and other financial reports.
• Building and maintaining client relationships as day-to-day contact.
• Liaising with HMRC and other external parties when required.
• Ensuring work is completed accurately within deadlines.
• Using accounting software and cloud-based systems to manage client records.
