Job summary

ProTalent is seeking an Accounts Semi-Senior for its Folkestone office. You will look after bookkeeping, VAT and year-end accounts for a portfolio of clients, with support from seniors and managers to help you progress toward your qualification.

The role requires part-qualified AAT/ACA/ACCA (or studying) and 2–3 years' practice experience, with strong Excel and Office skills to deliver accurate financials on time.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in practice
• Good working knowledge of bookkeeping, VAT and accounts preparation
• Confident with Excel and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping and preparing accounts for a client portfolio
• Preparing VAT returns for clients
• Preparing year-end accounts for various entity types
• Assisting with personal and corporation tax returns
