Clark Wood is seeking an Accounts Semi Senior in Carlisle to join a respected firm of Chartered Accountants. You will work across sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, handling accounts preparation, VAT and bookkeeping with exposure to cloud software.

Qualifications

• AAT qualified or studying towards ACA / ACCA.
• Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice.

Clark Wood are currently recruiting for an Accounts Semi Senior to join a respected firm of Chartered Accountants based in Carlisle.

This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT qualified, ACA / ACCA part-qualified or experienced Accounts Assistant looking to progress their career within a supportive accountancy practice.

Working with a varied portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, you will gain exposure across accounts preparation, bookkeeping, VAT and management accounts.

The Role

• Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients.


• Assisting with VAT returns and bookkeeping.


• Supporting management accounts and ad hoc assignments.


• Using accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.


• Liaising with clients and supporting senior members of the team.

About You
