Job summary

Puro Associates in Hexham is seeking an Accounts Semi-Senior to support a diverse client portfolio within a friendly, collaborative firm. The role covers statutory accounts for partnerships, LLPs and limited companies, tax computations, VAT returns, CT returns and financial reporting.

You will liaise with clients and key stakeholders to deliver high-quality service. AAT qualification or part-qualified ACA/ACCA, strong organisation and time management are essential.

Qualifications

• AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA.
• Experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Charity accounts experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for partnerships, LLPs and limited companies, including tax computations.
• Produce management accounts and prepare and review VAT returns.
• Draft Corporation Tax returns (CT600).
• Prepare financial reports, highlighting business issues, systems and controls.

• Liaise with clients and key stakeholders to deliver a high standard of service.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
