Job summary

Streets is a modern accountancy practice seeking an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior to join our team. You will prepare year-end accounts for a varied client base, liaising with clients to resolve queries and ensuring timely delivery within budget.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification completed; option to progress to ACA or ACCA.
• Experience working in General Practice accounting environments.
• Knowledge of accounting standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Liaise with clients to resolve queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete all assignments within the allocated budget and on time.
• Produce draft tax computations for clients.
• Produce year-end accounts for various client types in accordance with accounting standards.
• Prepare VAT returns.

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior to join our team. You will work closely with clients and colleagues alike, preparing year end accounts for a varied client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Liaise with clients to resolve queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete all assignments within the allocated budget and on time.
• Produce draft tax computations for clients.
• Produce year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies in accordance with the relevant accounting standards.
• Prepare schedules for tax returns.
• Complete VAT returns.

Qualifications & Experience
