Accounts Receivable Specialist – SAP Experience

Job summary

Confidential is recruiting an Accounts Receivable Administrator to join the finance team of an established manufacturing business in Dudley. The role is permanent, full-time and on-site, with a salary around £30,000 depending on experience.

You will manage sales invoicing, customer accounts, cash allocation and credit control support while helping to optimise processes in our new SAP environment and supporting month-end reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Solid transactional finance experience with double-entry bookkeeping.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Strong Excel skills and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Raising and processing sales invoices, ensuring pricing, VAT and customer information is accurate.
• Maintaining customer accounts and master data.
• Allocating cash and reconciling customer accounts.
• Monitoring outstanding balances and supporting credit control.
• Investigating invoice queries, discrepancies and payment issues.
• Processing credit notes and refunds.
• Preparing aged receivables information and supporting cash-flow reporting.
• Supporting month-end, including trade debtor reconciliations and revenue cut-off.
• Maintaining accurate records and audit trails.
• Working closely with Finance, Sales, Operations and Logistics.
• Helping identify and resolve transactional or system issues as the SAP environment beds in.
