Balfour Beatty plc is seeking an Accounts Receivable Team Member in Newcastle to support cash receipts, allocations and invoicing in a high-volume environment. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely processing and strong stakeholder collaboration to ensure service levels are met.

The position is a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract. You will work with Shared Service Centre and site teams, contributing to ongoing improvements, audits and process documentation.

• GCSEs in Maths, English and IT supporting role requirements.
• Proven ability to manage time and meet deadlines, with a proactive improvements mindset.
• Organised, process-driven and detail-oriented with strong data integrity.
• Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
• Clear communication across all levels and departments.

Mansioni

• Process and allocate a high volume of cash receipts accurately and within SLAs.
• Raise a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy and 24-hour service level.
• Investigate unapplied and unidentified cash receipts and resolve promptly.
• Respond to invoice and cash queries with high-quality customer service.
• Maintain accurate financial records and follow internal controls.
• Collaborate with Shared Service Centre and site colleagues to resolve issues.
• Support VAT understanding and correct treatment within AR processes.
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing for new systems and transitions.
• Support audits and data requests with timely information.
• Identify process improvements to reduce risks and improve efficiency.
• Document procedures and maintain DTPs and related records.
