Job summary

Huntress is supporting a Basildon-based client in recruiting a Sales Ledger Clerk for a permanent, full-time position. You will handle sales invoices, credit notes, and liaise with various stakeholders in a fully office-based environment.

The role requires at least 3 years in a similar finance role, experience with Sage 50, and strong organisational and communication skills. Salary up to 35k with a supportive team and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a similar finance role is required.
• Experience with Sage 50 is essential and prior sales or purchase ledger exposure.
• Strong organisation and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Produce sales invoices and credit notes for multiple entities and currencies.
• Access portals to upload invoices and supporting documentation.
• Maintain sales order reports and perform credit control for allocated accounts.
• Communicate with retailers, factories, and other external stakeholders.
• Liaise with Directors and Sales Coordinators; resolve queries promptly.
• Assist the Financial Controller with ad-hoc duties as required.
