Job summary

Sea Containers London, part of Lore Group, seeks an Accounts Receivable professional to join our finance team in London. You will process cash takings, post payments, and support reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, manage cash processes, and assist with reporting for monthly meetings. We offer extensive benefits and development opportunities.

This full-time on-site role is based at our South Bank riverside location.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Receivable or similar finance roles.
• Qualification or degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems; strong attention to detail.

• Process daily cash takings and post transactions.
• Support AR activities including reconciliations and allocations.
• Prepare bank deposits and reporting for monthly meetings.

This position involves collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate accurate cash processes.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProcess daily cash takings, ensuring all funds are accurately counted, recorded, and prepared for banking.Enter financial transactions and payment information into the accounting system with a high level of accuracy.Maintain petty cash records and organise supporting financial documentation in line with company procedures.Support accounts receivable activities, including payment allocations, reconciliations, and chargeback processing.Prepare bank deposit schedules, financial reports, and monthly credit meeting presentations.Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and audit requirements at all times.Provide administrative support to the Finance team and collaborate with other departments to improve processes and efficiencies.Manage commission processing activities, ensuring payments are calculated accurately, reconciled, and processed in a timely manner.What We're Looking ForPrevious experience in an Accounts Receivable, Finance, Accounts Assistant, or similar administrative role.A qualification or degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.Experience working with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with financial data.Excellent organisational and time management skills.A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop within a Finance team.Please note: While previous finance experience and relevant qualifications are advantageous, they are not essential.
