Job description

Accounts & Payroll Specialist Role

Location: Oxford

Full Time, Fully site based

Permanent basis

Construction experience

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Enter and generate payroll for multiple states, multiple unions, Federal and Public Works Contracts Prepare and process all payroll deductions, taxes and fringe benefits
  • Prepare all Quarterly and Year End Tax Reports (ie: 941, W-2's, ACA 1095-C)
  • Set up and maintain all personnel files.
  • Prepare and update New Hire packages (update posters etc.)
  • Conduct new employee orientation and complete documentation
  • Responsible for all HR inquires (ie: employment verifications, garnishments)
  • Manage workflow to ensure payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  • Must routinely meet tight deadlines
  • Assist employees with payroll, benefits and HR issues
  • Assist in other departments as needed
