Accounts Payable Team Lead - 6-9 Month Fixed Term Contract

I am pleased to be working with a fantastic organisation based in Glasgow - a really great team. This role is offered on a hybrid basis.

Leading the Accounts Payable Team, you will have extensive experience with Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger already and be an SME in your field. You should be able to manage the full Accounts Payable function and be confident advising team members through potential issues.

As a team leader, you will be passionate about people and able to motivate the staff working with you.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

1. Oversee the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
2. Maintain supplier relationships and be able to resolve payment issues.
3. Ensure prompt and accurate accounts reconciliations.
4. Be responsible for the smooth running of Payment Runs.
5. Supervise, mentor, and manage the AP team.

You will have extensive Accounts Payable experience, and ideally have been in a leadership role before, though that is not essential. Your subject knowledge and communication skills are the key skills.
