Job summary

Confidential in Sheffield is seeking an Accounts Payable Interim to manage day-to-day processing of supplier invoices and payments, ensuring smooth operations within the accounting and finance team. This temporary role supports the professional services client base.

You will handle high volumes, resolve supplier queries, reconcile statements, and assist with month-end activities, while liaising with US-based teams to ensure timely cash application and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Previous Accounts Payable experience is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across teams.
• Flexible approach to working hours, with occasional later finishes (e.g. 10:00am-6:30pm) when working from home to support collaboration with colleagues in the US.

Responsibilities

• Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Managing supplier queries and resolving payment issues.
• Reconciling supplier statements and maintaining AP records.
• Supporting payment runs and month-end activities.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and the US Cash Application team.
