Job summary

Sanderson Recruitment Plc is hiring an Accounts Payable Assistant in Yeovil for a 6-month initial contract. You will support day-to-day AP tasks across invoice processing, reconciliations and query resolution.

The role offers hybrid working (3 days on site per week) and a daily rate up to £225, inside IR35 via umbrella. Strong Excel/Access skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience working with large volumes of financial data.
• Good Microsoft Excel and Access skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Invoice matching and processing.
• Full supplier statement reconciliations.
• Resolving internal and mailbox queries.
• Running payment runs and financial reports.
• Processing BACS, SEPA and priority payments.
• Identifying issues and escalating risks where required.
• Supporting improvements to existing AP processes.
