Halfords is seeking a Finance Assistant to join our Finance Shared Services team in Redditch. You will process supplier invoices, resolve queries, and help ensure timely payments while building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

The role requires attention to detail, good time management, and experience in Accounts Payable. We offer a hybrid working pattern with two on-site days at our Redditch Support Centre and opportunities to develop within a supportive finance

Qualifications

• Experience in a Financial or Accounts Payable role
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and payments made on time
• Build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries
• Reconcile supplier accounts, investigate discrepancies and historic balances
• Support invoice matching and reporting to improve compliance across the garage network
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the Finance Shared Services team
