Job summary

Urban Pubs & Bars is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the Finance team on a fixed-term basis (12 months). The role concentrates on Accounts Payable across multiple sites, ensuring accurate recording of financial data and timely supplier payments.

The successful candidate will resolve discrepancies, support the wider finance function, and help improve AP processes. Strong Excel skills and experience with Sage Intacct are desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounts payable or finance roles.
• Ability to resolve supplier queries and manage payment cycles.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform supplier statement reconciliations.
• Prepare supplier payments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Review aged balances and resolve outstanding queries.
• Support credit control activities as required.
• Assist with month-end tasks including accruals and journal entries.
• Undertake ad hoc duties as required by the AP Supervisor.
