Job summary

A leading Gen Z social publisher is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant for a 6-month FTC with potential for permanent placement in London. The role involves managing supplier invoices, processing payments, and handling AP queries within a collaborative finance team. About the role

We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to support the finance team with day‑to‑day AP processes. You’ll be working in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, with exposure to our upcoming migration to Sage Intacct. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll gain experience across the full AP cycle, payments, and reconciliations.

You’ll work closely with the Finance Assistant and Head of Finance in a small, fast‑paced team, so you’ll get direct training and responsibility from day one.

What you’ll do

• Process supplier invoices into Microsoft Dynamics NAV (migrating to Sage Intacct in 2025)
• Set up new suppliers in the system using submitted forms
• Prepare and support weekly supplier payment runs (via HSBC)
• Process staff expenses and reimbursements
• Post and reconcile bank transactions (HSBC)
• Post and reconcile Revolut card transactions
• Respond to AP queries and manage the finance/accounts mailbox

What we’re looking for

• Studying or recently finished a finance/accounting qualification (Finance Degree, AAT, CIMA, ACCA, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable with Excel
• Good communication skills for dealing with suppliers and staff
• Eager to learn accounting systems and AP processes
• An understanding of AI and automation

Nice to have

• Previous exposure to accounts payable or finance admin
• Experience with any accounting software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or NAV)
• Understanding of invoice matching and reconciliations
