Job summary

THG Ingenuity Ltd. in Manchester is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join our busy Finance Shared Service Centre.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will process supplier invoices, manage service invoices and stock invoices, and maintain supplier accounts to ensure timely payments. You will work in a fast-paced team, prioritising a heavy workload, resolving queries efficiently, and supporting month-end activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working in Accounts Payable.
• Experience processing supplier invoices, ideally in high-volume environments.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Predominantly process service invoices, with some stock invoices.
• Match invoices to Purchase Orders and investigate discrepancies.
• Code and process non-PO invoices per procedures and approvals.
• Manage invoice approval workflows and follow up outstanding approvals.
• Resolve invoice queries with suppliers and internal teams.
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate outstanding items.
• Assist with supplier payment runs and month-end activities.
• Maintain supplier accounts and timely invoice processing.
