Morson Praxis is seeking an organised Accounts Payable Assistant to support the finance team with day-to-day processing of invoices, reconciliations and payments. This role operates within a wider Morson Group environment that values accuracy and collaboration across projects.

You will handle supplier invoices, expenses and purchase orders, while maintaining control of month-end activities and reporting. An eye for detail and proactive approach are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable role.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with finance systems and Microsoft Excel; VLOOKUPs/Pivot Tables advantageous.
• Proactive, organised approach with ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders.
• Team-focused and keen to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, staff expenses and purchase orders accurately.
• Reconcile supplier statements and complete daily/monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and process weekly BACS payment runs.
• Ensure invoices are approved and processed per procedures.
• Respond to finance queries from suppliers and project teams.
• Support month-end activities including journals and reconciliations.
• Compile Payment Practices reporting and maintain financial records.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and systems.
