Job description

As an Accounts Payable Manager, you'll lead a talented team and ensure the smooth and accurate processing of all AP transactions across our BTR portfolio. You'll help shape our processes, mentor your team, and ensure our systems are scalable, efficient, and future-ready.

This is a key leadership role within our finance function—ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves solving problems, and wants to make a meaningful impact.

What will you do?

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team to deliver accuracy, efficiency, and excellent service.
• Oversee invoice processing, payments, expenses, and reconciliations with precision and timeliness.
• Champion continuous improvement by enhancing systems, processes, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth and timely payments.
• Manage AP month-end and year-end close processes.
• Report on KPIs and highlight key trends to the wider business.
• Manage Soldo card reconciliations and resolve unapplied cash balances.
• Support wider project planning, analysis, and business transformation initiatives.

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience in an AP leadership role, with a track record of team development and process improvement.
• Strong technical knowledge of transactional finance and financial controls.
• Confident with Excel and financial systems (advanced skills essential).
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise, multitask, and meet deadlines.
• A collaborative, proactive approach with great stakeholder management skills.
