Job summary

Paul Card Recruitment is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead an established AP team, build on a major ERP implementation and ensure a high-quality service across the business.

You will lead, develop and coach the team, drive end-to-end P2P processes and work with Procurement to improve efficiency and service levels. This role offers hybrid working within a large, well‑established company.

Qualifications

• Requires experience managing an Accounts Payable function, ideally in a larger or more complex organisation.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong teams, improve processes and introduce structure.
• Experience with finance or ERP system implementation is highly valuable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop an experienced Accounts Payable team.
• Oversee the end-to-end purchase-to-pay process.
• Drive process improvements across Accounts Payable and related functions.
• Collaborate with Procurement and other stakeholders to improve efficiency and service levels.
• Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Strengthen controls and reporting processes.
• Support ongoing systems and process enhancement initiatives.
• Ensure the team delivers high-quality service to the wider business.
