Job summary

Morgan Hunt is seeking a Finance Assistant AP to join the College's Finance team for a temporary period from October to April 2027. The role is based in-office, 9-5, full-time, with a busy, supportive team and a focus on accurate invoice processing and payments.

You will build on Accounts Payable experience, support the wider finance function, and assist during audit preparation and busy periods. Applicants should have strong attention to detail and good stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable or finance administration roles.
• Understanding of accounting processes and financial controls.
• Good written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices with correct codes and approvals.
• Check invoices and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Assist with fortnightly payment runs and prepare listings for approval.
• Respond to supplier queries and act as a contact for internal/external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with audit preparation.
• Support day-to-day financial transactions and administration.
