Confidential in Wolverhampton is seeking a detail‑oriented finance professional to join the team in a dual Accounts Payable/Credit Control role. The position covers vehicle billing, dealer payments and parts invoicing with emphasis on accuracy and timely processing.

You will manage supplier invoices, 3-way matching, payment runs, supplier statements and credit control activities, while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in Credit Control and Accounts Payable.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communicator with internal teams and external partners.
• Proficient in finance systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Match purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoices (3-way matching).
• Manage supplier payment runs and ensure adherence to payment terms.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain supplier master data and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Respond to supplier queries and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Credit Control, chasing overdues.
• Accounts Receivable.
• Support accruals, prepayments, and journal postings.
