Job summary

Fin Search Ltd in South Pontefract is recruiting an Accounts Payable Clerk on an ongoing temporary basis for a well performing, innovative business.

The role involves processing a high volume of invoices, setting up suppliers, creating supplier payments and liaising with suppliers. The successful candidate will have prior accounts payable experience, excellent attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter accounts payable invoices and set up suppliers
• Create supplier payments and reconcile payments with supplier statements
• Liaise with suppliers to respond to queries
• Support high-volume AP processing on an ongoing basis

Fin Search are recruiting an Accounts Payable Clerk on an ongoing temporary basis for a well performing, innovative, business based in South Pontefract.

The business is easily commutable from Barnsley, Doncaster and Wakefield.

This role may go permanent for the right person.

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, this role is responsible for providing a timely and accurate support when processing a high volume accounts payable invoices.

Duties will include, however are not limited to, entering accounts payable invoices, setting up suppliers, creating supplier payments and liaising with suppliers to answer any queries.

The successful candidate will:

• Have worked in an accounts payable role previously
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills

£14 - £16 per hour + free of charge hot lunch provided daily + 23 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) + free on site parking + ongoing interim role with the opportunity to go permanent
