• Assist Accounts Payable to ensure smooth running of accounts payable function.
• Handle manual cash expenses and overhead invoices.
• Monitor the AP mailbox and chase approvals.

Job description

A great hybrid opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a successful international growing company based in Newcastle, where you will become a valued member of the finance team.

This is a hybrid opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Accounts Payable to ensure the smooth running of the accounts payable function
• Handle manual cash expenses, maintenance, and overhead invoices
• Create new vendors
• Monitor the manual expense mailbox, chase approvals, answer queries, process, and post all expenses
• Request approvals and post invoices
• Post invoices once approved, raise queries, and request credit notes
• Monitor the AP mailbox

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year's experience in a finance/accounting position
• Experience with Microsoft Excel preferred
• Knowledge of Sage, SAP, Epicor, or BAAN is desirable
