Job summary

Mountain Warehouse in Coventry is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant for a fixed-term, full-time basis. You will support the AP team with supplier accounts, invoice processing, and reconciliations, working at the Coventry shared service centre.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience, strong numeracy, and good IT skills (Excel). You will interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely payments and accurate ledgers.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role.
• Strong numeracy with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good spoken and written communication and initiative to problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier accounts and process invoices/credit notes.
• Set up new suppliers, update bank details and remittance info.
• Liaise on invoice queries and ensure timely payments.
• Process journals into Netsuite and perform statement reconciliations.
• Assist with payment runs and monitor aged creditors.
• Support team and handle ad-hoc duties as required.
