Business Manager at Altum Consulting | Specialist Finance Recruiter for Charities and Non-Profits

Altum Consulting is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant for a Bristol based not for profit organisation dedicated to improving lives of children and young people.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, review, and verify invoices and payment requests
  • Ensure proper approvals are obtained before processing payments
  • Enter and maintain accurate records in the accounting system
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements
  • Assist in month-end closing processes
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
  • Support audits by providing documentation and reports as needed

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Minimum 2-3 year's experience in an Accounts Payable role, managing the end-to-end process
  • Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Business Central experience is desired

This is the hybrid role which requires a minimum of 2-3 days office attendance so you must be Bristol based.
