Job summary

Marshall Motor Group is hiring an Accounts Payable Administrator to support our expanding finance team. You will manage supplier invoices, process payments, and maintain accurate ledger records within a busy automotive retail group.

We offer a basic salary of £27,000 plus 25 days’ annual leave, life assurance, a pension scheme, and exclusive staff perks. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in a large accounting or finance office.
• Detail-oriented and accurate in a fast-paced, numbers-driven environment.
• Proficient IT skills; experience with Kerridge/Keyloop DMS preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the purchase ledger process with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Register and process supplier invoices, ensuring data is current and compliant.
• Raise and process payments to suppliers in a timely manner.
• Organise workload to meet financial deadlines and support team goals.
• Uphold group financial benchmarks and standards in ledger activities.

At Marshall Motor Group, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Administrator to help drive our finance function forward.

In this role:

• Manage the purchase ledger process with accuracy and attention to detail
• Register and process supplier invoices, ensuring financial data is current and compliant
• Raise and process payments to suppliers efficiently and on time
• Organise your workload to meet financial deadlines and support department goals
• Uphold Group financial benchmarks and standards in all ledger activities

We're looking for:

• Someone ideally with 2+ years relevant experience in a large accounting or finance office (automotive retail sector experience is a plus)
• Someone detail-oriented who thrives in a fast-paced, numbers-driven environment
• Someone with proficient IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, and ideally with Kerridge/Keyloop DMS, though not essential.
• Someone comfortable managing a high volume of transactions with accuracy and efficiency Most importantly, someone who’s positive, eager to learn, and ready to make a real impact as part of our team
