Accounts Manager or Senior Manager – Chelmsford, Essex – Top 50 Firm

Responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage a portfolio of clients to ensure compliance with tax and accounting regulations.
2. Serve as the primary contact for clients, working closely with the designated Director.
3. Supervise and assist team members.
4. Review compliance work, including year-end statutory accounts, VAT returns, management accounts, and personal and company tax returns.
5. Address client queries and provide advice where necessary.

Candidate Requirements

1. ACA or ACCA qualified.
2. 3-4+ years of post-qualification experience.
3. Experience managing a portfolio of client accounts.
4. Ability to manage and develop a team.
