AJ Chambers ® is seeking an experienced ACA or ACCA qualified accountant to join as Accounts Manager, overseeing accounting and tax compliance for a varied client base across media, theatre, property and more.

You will manage a portfolio, develop junior staff, and work closely with Partners to deliver high-quality service. Hybrid working in Greater London with CPD and progression opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• ACA or ACCA qualified, with 3–4 years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge.
• Experience with CCH Accounts Production, personal tax and Xero is advantageous.

This well-established accountancy firm are looking for an experienced ACA or ACCA qualified accountant to join their team as an Accounts Manager. The firm work with a varied client base including media and entertainment, theatre, property investment, motor sports and more.

The Role

You will manage a varied client portfolio, overseeing accounting and tax compliance work, building strong client relationships and supporting the development of junior team members. Working closely with Partners, you'll gain exposure to a diverse range of clients and have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Review statutory accounts and sole trader accounts.
• Prepare and review personal and corporation tax returns.
• Manage VAT returns and Making Tax Digital submissions.
• Assist with capital gains tax, overseas tax compliance and residency reviews.
• Manage client relationships and respond to queries.
• Oversee workflows, deadlines, budgets and billing.

About You

• ACA or ACCA qualified, with 3–4 years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Confident working independently and managing competing deadlines.
• Experience with CCH Accounts Production, personal tax and Xero would be advantageous.
