Job summary

AJ Chambers is seeking an Accounts Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of clients in a supportive, forward-thinking firm. You’ll work closely with Partners delivering an exceptional service, reviewing sole trader and corporate accounts, and ensuring accurate statutory accounts for entertainment, media and property clients.

This role offers hybrid and flexible working, a clear progression path, and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA qualified with 3+ years post-qualification experience.
• Experience with statutory accounts and corporate tax returns.
• Experience with MTD and quarterly VAT returns.

Responsibilities

• Working with clients in media/entertainment, tech and property sectors.
• Managing a portfolio of clients and reviewing accounts.
• Reviewing and finalising statutory accounts and corporate tax returns.
• Overseeing day-to-day accounting and personal tax compliance.
• Act as key point of contact for clients and mentor junior staff.
• Effective management of budgets, WIP and billing processes.

The Role:

• Working with clients in the media and entertainment sector as well as tech and property
• Managing a portfolio of clients
• Review of sole trader accounts, predominantly entertainment-based clients
• Reviewing and finalising statutory accounts
• Preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns
• Managing a portfolio of MTD returns and quarterly VAT returns
• Overseeing day to day accounting and personal tax compliance activities
• Act as key point of contact for clients
• Mentor, train and supervise junior team members
• Effective management of budgets, work in progress and billing process

The firm are seeking an ACCA / ACA qualified individual with 3+ years’ post qualified experience.
