TPF Recruitment is supporting a fantastic firm of chartered accountants based in Sevenoaks, Kent, in their search for an Accounts & Audit Senior. Our client is a relaxed and friendly firm with a strong staff retention rate and a great working environment. The role involves working across accounts, audit, and tax, with responsibilities tailored to the candidate's experience and aspirations.

You will gain exposure to a range of businesses, mainly owner-managed, with turnovers from £10m to £100m.

Reporting to the Audit and Accounts Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting a diverse portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses and not-for-profit organizations.
• Leading audits from planning to completion, liaising with team members and clients.
• Providing accountancy and taxation advice and support to clients.
• Hosting and conducting pre-audit and post-audit meetings with clients.
• Assisting in managing a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants.
• Mentoring colleagues by reviewing their work and promoting high-quality service.
• Developing the team's skills through training and development plans.
• Contributing to the firm's growth by maintaining existing clients and building new relationships.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• ACA / ACCA qualification.
• At least 3+ years of practice experience.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
