Job summary

Clark Wood in Penrith is seeking an ambitious Accounts & Audit Senior to join a respected independent firm of Chartered Accountants. You will manage a varied portfolio of client work, delivering statutory accounts, tax computations and audit support while developing in a supportive team with study assistance.

The role offers genuine career progression, study support and the opportunity to develop within a close-knit and growing firm.

Qualifications

ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (study support available).
Experience in UK accountancy practice.
Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and UK accounting standards.
Some audit experience would be advantageous.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to manage workloads and work independently.

Responsibilities

Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
Completing corporation tax computations and supporting with tax compliance.
Assisting with audit assignments from planning through to completion.
Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact.
Reviewing work completed by junior team members and providing support.
Working closely with Managers and Partners to deliver a high-quality client service.
