Blusource Professional Services Ltd in Kettering is seeking an Accounts and Audit Accountant in a role blending both disciplines, from Semi-Senior/Part-Qualified up to Assistant Manager level. Flexible hours, full or part-time, with a varied workload in accounts and audits.

The position involves statutory financial statements, management accounts, audit testing, and potential progression to planning and completion, with travel across the UK available a few weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Mixed role with accounts and audit duties.
• Preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Preparation of management accounts.
• Audit testing with progression toward planning and completion.

Responsibilities

• This is a mixed role that will also include general accountant duties.
• Audit assistance or leading, dependent on your experience.
• Staff and client supervision can be included, experience dependent.
• Undertake the preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Preparation of management accounts.
• Undertaking audit testing with the opportunity to progress towards planning and completion.
• Working alongside audit managers and partners to deliver high-quality client service.
• Participating in occasional off-site audit work across the UK (approximately 3 weeks per year, spread throughout the year, requiring flexibility for travel and overnight stays).
