Job summary

Blusource Professional Services Ltd is recruiting a Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant to join a friendly team near Long Eaton, Beeston and Nottingham. The role offers hybrid working with one day per week from home after probation, flexitime and study support for AAT/ACA/ACCA to enable long‑term career growth.

You'll work on statutory accounts, tax computations and VAT, with client liaison and audit support as needed, in a collaborative practice noted for training and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Experience with corporation tax computations and personal tax returns.
• Handling VAT returns and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for various entities.
• Compute corporation tax and personal tax returns.
• Prepare VAT returns and maintain records.
• Assist clients with accounting software, notably Sage.
• Support audit assignments when required.
• Liaise with clients to resolve accounting and tax queries.
