Blusource is partnering with an established firm of accountants in Kettering to recruit an Accounts and Audit Accountant. The role offers a blend of Accounts and Audit work for semi-senior to manager grades, with flexible hours and potential for full-time or part-time arrangements.

The role includes statutory financial statements, management accounts, and audit testing, with travel across the UK and progression opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or semi-senior level with accounting/audit focus.
• Experience with statutory financial statements and management accounts.
• Willingness to travel and work UK-wide occasionally.
• Strong client service and supervision potential.

Responsibilities

• Handle a mixed role of Accounts and Audit work.
• Provide audit assistance or lead audit engagements based on experience.
• May supervise staff and clients depending on assignment.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and management accounts.
• Support audit testing and progress towards planning/completion.
• Collaborate with audit managers and partners to deliver high-quality service.
• Occasional off-site audit work across the UK with travel and overnight stays.
