Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is seeking an Accounts Associate for its Bournemouth team, offering a collaborative environment and clear development opportunities. You will work on year-end statements for diverse clients, including SMEs and charities, with a supportive, flexible hybrid setup.

The role requires ACA/ACCA or active study, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel, Word and accounting software such as CCH.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or actively studying towards qualification, with experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
• Comfortable using Excel, Word and accounting software; experience with CCH or similar accounts production systems is advantageous.
• Confident communicator who enjoys building professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Motivated, ambitious and eager to continue developing professionally within a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review year-end financial statements for a varied portfolio of clients.
• Support advisory projects to help clients improve financial performance and achieve goals.
• Collaborate with tax, audit and accounts teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Manage workload, plan assignments and support junior team members' development.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service.
