TEC Partners Limited is partnering with a growing accountancy practice to appoint an Accounts Assistant Manager. The role will take ownership of a varied portfolio, support clients and junior team members, and ensure high-quality work within deadlines.

You will manage medium to large accounts, including tax computations, acting as a key client contact. The role blends hands-on accounting, review responsibilities and team development within a supportive firm.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA part-qualified or fully qualified with UK practice experience.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts and tax computations.
• Strong client-facing skills and up‑to‑date VAT knowledge, including partial exemption.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts and tax computations.
• Resolve complex queries with clients and propose practical solutions.
• Review work by juniors prior to manager sign-off.
• Coach and mentor junior staff, provide feedback.
• Manage assignment timelines in line with budgets.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication.
