Pentland Land Rover Edinburgh East, part of the John Clark Motor Group, is seeking an Accounts Assistant. This full-time role runs 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, offering an excellent salary and benefits.

You will handle processing and recording of accounts, invoices, and payments, maintain internal controls, and support management with financial administration. The position suits candidates with strong attention to detail and IT skills, especially Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• Accurate processing and recording in accounts and admin tasks.
• Analyse purchase and sales invoices, plus customer and supplier receipts and payments.
• Confidential records maintained and updated daily.
• Maintain the dealership's internal control system and report irregularities.
• Alert management to internal control concerns and irregularities.
• Maintain accounts payable/receivable control system.

Responsibilities

• Process and record accounts and admin tasks accurately.
• Analyse invoices and receipts for customers and suppliers.
• Maintain confidentiality and daily update accounting records.
• Support internal control processes and compliance.
