Môrwell Talent Solutions are delighted to be working with a growing manufacturing business on the outskirts of Cardiff. This Accounts Assistant role offers an opportunity to develop a long-term career in finance within a supportive team.

You will support sales and purchase ledgers, assist with month-end processes, payroll when required, and contribute to financial reporting. This is an office-based role with excellent benefits and a flexible start time.

Qualifications

• AAT qualified/studying or working towards ACCA/CIMA.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Sales Ledger: generate invoices, support credit control, allocate receipts, assist with month-end routines.
• Purchase Ledger: match PO and delivery notes, input invoices, allocate payments, supplier queries, month-end routines.
• General Finance: maintain records, bank reconciliations, support month-end reporting, payroll assistance when required, respond to internal queries.
