Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant in Cardiff. This fully site-based role provides a pathway to grow within a supportive finance team and offers a structured Monday-to-Friday schedule, 9:00am–5:00pm.

The position carries a £27,000 annual salary, with opportunities to learn and progress in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will handle purchase ledger processing, supplier statements, and month-end tasks, contributing to accurate financial records and timely

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger Clerk or similar role.
• Strong understanding of purchase ledger and invoicing processes.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Processing purchase ledger invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Matching, checking, and coding invoices.
• Assisting with payment runs and supplier statements.
• Reconciling supplier accounts and resolving queries.
• Supporting sales ledger and invoicing activities.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and account information.
• Assisting with month-end processes and reporting.
• Liaising with suppliers and internal departments regarding account queries.
• General finance administration duties as required.
