Job summary

Clockwork Organisation Ltd t/a Travail Employment seeks an Accounts Assistant to support daily finance tasks in Ruthin, Denbighshire. The role is permanent, 40 hours per week, with a salary of £29,500 per annum.

You will process invoices, reconcile supplier accounts, manage card and PayPal transactions, and assist in monthly reporting while contributing to audits and process improvements as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accounts or finance role.
• Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
• Good working knowledge of Excel.
• Experience using Sage Line 50 or similar accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Process and post purchase invoices with supporting documentation.
• Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve queries promptly.
• Manage company credit card and PayPal transactions accurately.
• Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Produce reports and analysis for management decisions.
• Provide administrative and accounting support across the finance function.
• Assist with internal and external audits and maintain documentation.
• Support cross-team collaboration and cover for finance staff as needed.
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Take on additional responsibilities as the business grows.
