Job summary

Paul Card Recruitment is partnering with a Sunderland-based professional services business to recruit an Accounts Assistant. If you're early in your finance career, this role offers development, study support, and increasing responsibility over time.

You’ll handle supplier invoices, credit notes, allocations, credit control, bank reconciliations, expenses, and billing queries, maintaining accurate records. AAT study is encouraged and progression to more senior roles is possible.

Qualifications

• Some transactional accounts experience.
• Organised and accurate with attention to detail.
• Keen to develop with study support (AAT or similar).

Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices and credit notes.
• Allocating receipts and reconciling accounts.
• Managing credit control and bank reconciliations.
• Handling expenses and resolving billing queries.
• Maintaining accurate financial records.
