Kenton Black Limited is seeking an Accounts Assistant based in Central Lancashire to support a German overseas entity. The role is hybrid, with one day in the office, and reports to the finance lead in Germany.

You will handle day-to-day transactional activity and collaborate with the UK head office. Required is experience in transactional finance and fluent German, both written and spoken, with the ability to use German professionally across finance processes.

Qualifications

• Fluent German in written and spoken communication for professional use.
• Part-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE with solid transactional finance experience.
• Experience in transactional finance with ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.

Responsabilités

• Raising customer invoices and processing payments for the overseas entity.
• Managing day-to-day financial transactions across Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable.
• Carrying out bank reconciliations.
• Assisting with month-end tasks where possible.
• Processing intercompany transactions.
• Processing travel expenses and inputting employee expenses.

Based in Central Lancashire, this highly acquisitional IT based organisation are seeking a talented Accounts Assistant to join an expanding group in a newly established role. A hybrid position, with one day in the office, the role will lead on day to day financial activity for their German overseas entity. To be considered you shall be an experienced Finance professional with the ability to communicate fluently both written and verbally in German. As well as the finance skills, you must also have experince using the German language in a professional capacity.

Your New Role As Accounts Assistant:

Reporting to the finance lead in Germany, this role sits within a small team and will support the Financial Accountant based in Chorley, leading on all day to day transactional activity for a business unit located in Germany:

Main role duties:

• Raising customer invoices and processing payments for the overseas entity
• Managing all day-to-day financial transactions across Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable
• Bank reconciliations
• Assisting with month-end tasks where possible
• Processing of intercompany transactions
• Processing of travel expenses
• Inputting of employee expenses

The group finance function is based in Chorley, this role will sit within the head office function meaning you will gain exposure to the UK team as well as those employed to manage finance for the business in Germany.

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

To be considered you shall be an experienced Finance professional with the ability to communicate fluently both written and verbally in German. With the skills and experince stated in the JD, you shall have excellent communication skills. Part qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE you shall have a strong skillset within transactional finance and have the ability to work autonomously with a focus on time management.
