Sharp Consultancy are working with a family run business in Thirsk looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the business. Joining a small, friendly finance team this role will report directly into the finance manager and will ensure the smooth running of the transactional accounts.

Key duties include processing ledgers, preparing and submitting payment runs, dealing with invoice queries, accounts reconciliation, VAT preparation and assisting with payroll for seasonal staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a finance role.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Process sales and purchase ledgers.
• Prepare and submit payment runs.
• Deal with invoice queries.
• Perform accounts reconciliation.
• Assist with VAT preparation.
• Assist with weekly cash-flow reports for the business.
• Assist with payroll preparation for seasonal staff.
