Job summary

Consult KA in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to support transactional finance and the management accounts process. You will manage daily sales invoicing, supplier statements, cash allocations and invoice processing within a busy finance team.

Candidates should be part-qualified AAT or qualified by experience, have strong Excel skills, experience with a large ERP system, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Part qualified AAT or qualified or qualified by experience.
• Knowledge of transactional finance and the month end process.
• Experience of using Excel for reporting is a must.
• Experience of using a large ERP system.
• Excellent communication skills and investigative by nature.

Responsibilities

• Daily Sales invoicing – check and match invoices to Customer Orders.
• Send Customer Statements monthly and resolve invoice queries.
• Cash allocation daily against remittances.
• Process invoices against Purchase Orders and log issues.
• Process Expenses and Credit Card claims with VAT coding.
• Update spreadsheets (Pre-Payments, Fixed Assets, Invoices log).
• Assist with payment runs and supplier payments.
• Process manual payments for overseas suppliers and send remittances.
• Assist with supplier calls chasing payments.
• Supplier statement reconciliations.
• Ad hoc credit control and chasing overdue accounts.
